Cucumber salad with apple

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s), long
  • 1 apple, sour
  • 1 onion(s)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp salad cream (Miracel Whip), light
  • 3 gherkins
  • 150 g sausage (mortadella or cooked ham)
  • Pepper, from the mill
  • herbal salt
  • Dill tips

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Peel the cucumber with a vegetable peeler and slice thinly. Peel and finely dice the onion and apple. Mix with salt and sugar. Let it chill overnight (at least 2 hours). In the meantime, mix the remaining ingredients and season with pepper, herb salt, and dill sprigs. Finally, simply combine the two. Perfect with flatbread or a BBQ.
