Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 2 medium-sized bell peppers, mixed
  • 2 m.-large gherkins
  • 5 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp, heaped horseradish
  • some lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • curry powder

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Make a cocktail sauce from sour cream, tomato ketchup, lemon juice, and grated horseradish. Season with salt, pepper, sugar, and a little curry powder. Wash and core the bell pepper. Mix strips of ham and sweet pepper, along with slices of gherkin, into the cocktail sauce and let it marinate for about 3 hours. This cocktail is best served with toasted black bread and a salad.
