Indian Chai
The perfect indian chai recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 bag Black tea (Assam) (or loose tea)
- 15 piece Cloves
- 5 piece Cardamom pods
- 3 tablespoon Sugar
- 650 Milliliters Water
- 150 Milliliters Coffee cream
preparation
- Flatten the cardamom pods a little with a mortar or rolling pin so that they open. Put all ingredients except the coffee cream in a saucepan. Let everything boil. Add the coffee cream and simmer for a few more minutes. Pour tea through a sieve into a pot and enjoy.
