Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 rolls (wheat rolls), vegan, from the day before
- 20 g breadcrumbs
- 2 slices of sliced cheese, vegan
- 30 g yeast flakes
- 10 g Bacon , vegan, see my other recipes
- 50 g soy quark (quark alternative)
- 150 ml water, lukewarm
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp pepper
- 3 pinches of nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
fluffy, light and with a fine smoky cheese flavor
Cut the rolls and vegan cheese slices into small pieces. Crumble the vegan bacon by hand and thoroughly mix it with all the other ingredients in a bowl. It should form a homogeneous, sticky mixture. Depending on the consistency, add more water or breadcrumbs if necessary. Heat water in a pot and add salt. Form four equal-sized dumplings from the dumpling mixture and let them cook in hot, salted water for about 15 minutes.
