Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 slice(s) meat substitute (Soy Big Steaks)
- 1 liter of broth
- 1 tbsp paprika powder, smoked, mild
- Salt
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
The Soy Big Steak is cooked in the broth for about 45 minutes. Then it’s removed from the broth, squeezed out the excess water, and cut into strips approximately 3 mm thick and 3 cm long. The soy meat is then seasoned with smoked paprika, salt, and oil, and the mixture is evenly distributed. The smoky aroma is reminiscent of ham. Of course, you can vary the seasonings to your liking. I like to eat this cold cut on bread, in salads, or with warm dishes. It also cooks well when fried until crispy.
