Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g carrot(s)
  • 100 ml ketchup, (curry ketchup)
  • 100 ml cucumber juice, alternatively 30 ml sweet vinegar + 70 ml water
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • chili flakes
  • Paprika powder
  • Curry powder or curry paste
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp sauce thickener

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Carrot as sausage, no work, low in calories, no tofu, no meat

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Peel and slice the carrots, and add them to the pan. Briefly fry, then add the ketchup, pickle juice, and apple juice. Season to taste with the spices and simmer briefly with the sauce thickener.
