Green beans with ginger

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 cm ginger root, finely grated
  • 1 tsp, heaped savory, freshly chopped
  • 500 g green beans, cut diagonally
  • 2 tbsp mint, fresh, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

great side dish to grilled meat

Cover the bottom of a pan with water and cook the ginger and savory for about 2 minutes. Add the beans and mint, stir, and cook over medium heat. Don’t overcook the beans! Remove the beans from the pan and refrigerate. Just before serving, toss the beans in the olive oil.
