Plum Muffins

The perfect plum muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 350 g Fresh plums
  • 250 g Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • 250 ml Buttermilk
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 125 g Soft butter
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 50 g Chocolate white
  • Powdered sugar brown
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix the egg with sugar and butter. Mix flour with baking powder, stir in buttermilk first, then stir in flour mixture.
  2. Wash the plums, stone them and cut into small pieces. Grate the chocolate finely. Fold both into the dough. Fill the muffin tray with 6 silicone molds, place the remaining silicone molds (for me there were 9 silicone molds) on an oven rack and fill with the batter.
  3. Bake the plum muffins in the oven on the middle rack for about 20-25 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
