Baking: Plum and Marzipan Muffins

The perfect baking: plum and marzipan muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Flour type 550
  • 50 g Ground almonds
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 2 piece Free range eggs
  • 100 g Marzipan paste
  • 80 g Safflower oil
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 10 piece Plums, fresh
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Grate the marzipan mixture. Combine with flour, almonds, sugar, eggs, salt, oil, milk and baking powder to make a fairly runny batter.
  2. Line a muffin tin with paper liners and distribute the batter evenly on top.
  3. Core the plums and cut into small pieces. Spread these on the dough
  4. Bake the muffins at 180 degrees top / bottom heat in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. After cooling, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  5. I baked the mufffins in a silicone mold this time. Wasn’t exactly a hit. They didn’t come out very well. They still tasted good, even for those who don’t like marzipan and largely forego fruit. ;-O
