Burnt End Brisket Pot – Beef brisket pieces in the Dutch oven

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 kg beef brisket, smoked leftovers
  • 3 potatoes
  • 3 large onions
  • 200 ml apple juice
  • 10 tbsp BBQ sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

for delicious further processing of the leftovers of the brisket

Set up the Dutch oven and bring it up to temperature. Roughly chop the onions, sauté them, and after about 5 minutes, deglaze with the apple juice. Add the BBQ sauce and bring to a boil. Dice the beef brisket and peeled potatoes, add them, and simmer for about 25-30 minutes, until the potatoes are tender. The brisket only needs to be heated, as it’s already cooked.
