Chia berry jam with vanilla

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g frozen berries
  • 100 g gelling sugar
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 tsp, levelled vanilla, ground
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Thaw the berries, then add them to a saucepan with the gelling sugar, a little lemon juice, and ground vanilla. Stir thoroughly and let stand briefly. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil, test for settling, and add the chia seeds. Stir in and simmer for about a minute. Transfer to a hot, rinsed jar, seal, and let stand upside down for a moment.
