Brussels sprouts in curry cream sauce with melted cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g Brussels sprouts
  • 100 g processed cheese (salami)
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • some butter
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp curry

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the Brussels sprouts in salted water until al dente, then drain. Halve the onion and slice thinly. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the onion until translucent. Deglaze with cream and add the cream cheese. Once the cheese has melted, stir in the salt, pepper, nutmeg, and curry powder. Bring to a boil briefly, add the Brussels sprouts, and serve hot.
