Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 cucumbers
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 bunch parsley, chopped
- 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- Sugar
- Salt

Peel and slice the cucumbers. Place them in a bowl, sprinkle with salt, stir, and let stand for 1 hour. The cucumbers will soften and absorb the water. Now squeeze the cucumbers well and discard the water. Add the remaining ingredients and stir. Season generously with salt, sugar, and vinegar and let stand for at least another hour. Adjust seasoning if desired. Tip: Instead of parsley, it also tastes delicious with dill.
