Refreshing apple pudding based on vanilla pudding from the bag

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bag of pudding powder (vanilla flavor)
  • ½ liter apple juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 apple, possibly

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 5 minutes

Super quick to make, perfect for summer

Mix the pudding mix with about half of the apple juice until smooth, then bring the rest to a boil in a saucepan. Then add the mixed mixture. If you like, you can add a few small apple pieces (preferably without the peel) to the slightly thickened pudding (after half a minute to a minute of cooking time) to prevent them from becoming too soft. However, if you don’t like it quite as firm as this, you can add the pieces when you add everything to the pan. Once the mixture has thickened evenly (let it cook for at least a minute while stirring), pour it into bowls and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Vanilla sauce goes well with it.
