Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g apples
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 2 carnations
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ liter of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash and peel the apples, slice them into thin strips, take a lidded pot, and add the following: apple slices, sugar, water, cloves, cinnamon bark, and lemon zest. Boil the apples until soft (about 5 minutes). Let the apple compote cool. Ladle the compote into small bowls and serve it to your guests. I secretly wrote down this recipe for my mom.
