Asparagus pasta with a delicate orange flavor

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 80 g pasta of your choice
  • salt water
  • some olive oil or clarified butter
  • 6 stalk(s) asparagus, green
  • 0.1 liters of water
  • ¼ orange(s), untreated
  • 15 g Parmesan, grated
  • 1 sprig(s) basil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

quick and easy and yet something special!

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Grate the orange zest. Finely slice the basil. Heat the fat in a small saucepan and roast the asparagus, cut into 2 cm pieces, for a few minutes. Then add 0.1 l of water and simmer with the asparagus. Continue roasting until the asparagus reaches the desired firmness. Add the grated orange zest and basil, and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
