Beef steak with mushroom cream

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 small shallot(s)
  • 100 g mushrooms
  • some clarified butter
  • 1 beef steak(s), approx. 200 g
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 g light cream with herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the shallot and slice the mushrooms. Heat the clarified butter and sear the steak for 1-2 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper and place in an ovenproof dish in the preheated oven. Continue cooking at 175°C (convection oven) for approximately 8-10 minutes. Meanwhile, sear the mushrooms and shallot in the frying fat. Add the crème fraîche and mix well. Serve with the steak. Serve with duchess potatoes or croquettes.
