Potato and cheese sticks made from dumpling dough

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g dumpling dough or dumpling dough half and half
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 200 g grated cheese, e.g. mozzarella
  • 3 tbsp oil for brushing

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

super easy, kids love it

Knead the dumpling dough with the eggs. Sift in the cornstarch and knead it in. Finally, add the grated cheese and knead again until smooth. Form the dough into long logs (approx. 1.5 cm in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush the logs with a little oil and bake in a preheated oven (top/bottom heat) at 200°C (400°F) for about 30-40 minutes, until golden brown.
