Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 kg pork neck
  • 1 kg salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Sprinkle the salt on the foil and form a bed for the meat. Place the washed, unseasoned pork neck on this bed of salt. Cook in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 2 hours without opening the oven. This way, you can take care of your guests while the food cooks on its own. I serve it with white bread, pasta salad, potato salad, and various sauces (including garlic or herb butter, etc.).
