Broccoli gratin

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g broccoli
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 150 g quark, 20% fat
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth, vegetarian
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 60 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Protein dish

Trim and wash the broccoli, and divide it into small florets. Lightly peel the stalks, halve them lengthwise, and cut them into approximately 2 cm long pieces. Cook in 500 ml of gently boiling water for about 18 minutes. Drain the vegetables well, add the quark, and puree everything in a blender (I leave a few florets for now). Season with the vegetable broth and nutmeg. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with the cheese (I add the remaining florets now). Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes.
