Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g broccoli
- 400 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 250 g cheese, grated
- butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 500 ml instant chicken broth
- 200 ml cream
- e.g. basil, dried
- salt and pepper

Chop the broccoli into florets and cook in salted water for about five minutes until al dente. Wash the chicken breast fillet and cut into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper and fry in a pan. For the sauce, melt some butter in a pan and sauté the flour in the butter. Pour in the chicken stock and let it simmer for a while. Add the cream, stir, and season with salt and pepper. Add some dried or fresh basil, if desired. If the sauce is still too thin, use a light sauce thickener if necessary. Now place the broccoli and chicken pieces in a baking dish and mix. Then pour the sauce over it and finally scatter the grated cheese on top. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is a nice golden brown. We serve it with spaghetti.
