Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 2 large cans of tomatoes
- 2 onions (vegetable onions), roughly chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 100 g green olives, pitted, halved
- 100 g mustard (less depending on taste)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 125 g flaked almonds
- 8 chicken breasts
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Combine the tomatoes, onions, garlic cloves, and pitted, halved olives with salt, paprika, and pepper, and season well. Transfer everything to a greased baking dish. Mix the mustard with the mayonnaise and almonds until creamy. Spread this mixture over the chicken breasts and place them on top of the tomato and onion mixture. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. TIP: It also tastes good if you mix some mozzarella into the mustard cream.
