Stuffed shell pasta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 130 g spinach
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 450 g shell pasta, large
  • 450 g ricotta
  • 100 g Cheddar cheese
  • 100 g Parmesan
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp basil
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 400 g pizza sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Sauté the spinach in a pan with olive oil for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta shells until tender, drain, and set aside to cool. Combine the ricotta, sautéed spinach, finely chopped cheddar, Parmesan, oregano, basil, chili flakes, and garlic, and fill the pasta with the mixture. Spread the pizza sauce in a baking dish, top with the filled pasta shells, and sprinkle with a little more grated cheddar. Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes, then serve warm with a fresh basil leaf.
