Grandma's Waffles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g margarine, soft
  • 250 g sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 12 eggs
  • 5 packs of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

light waffle batter

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a mixer until batter forms. Bake waffles in batches in the preheated waffle iron. Brown the waffles to your liking. Note: If you don’t want as many waffles, simply use half of each ingredient and only 3 packets of vanilla sugar instead of 5. The waffles will still taste delicious the next day.
