Tomato – Mozzarella – Salad

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 500 g cherry tomatoes (cocktail tomatoes)
  • 500g mozzarella
  • 1 bunch basil, fresh
  • ½ tbsp vinegar
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp basil, dried
  • 6 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Combine oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, dried basil, and water in a bowl. Wash and dice the tomatoes. Peel the onions. Dice them along with the mozzarella. Place everything in a bowl and pour over the salad dressing. Then, toss the fresh basil leaves—you can leave the leaves whole or tear them in half, if you like. Mix everything together well and serve with a baguette.
