Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g carrot(s)
  • 2 apples, grated
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil, salad oil
  • 1 tsp freshly chopped herbs
  • some lemon juice, freshly squeezed

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Grate the carrots and apples and drizzle with lemon juice. Combine the water, sugar, oil, salad greens, and a little lemon juice in a salad bowl. Stir in the grated carrots and apples, season to taste, and add a little more sugar if desired. It’s delicious as a side dish, but also on its own.
