Marinated chicken and vegetable skewers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s) or turkey breast
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp sambal oelek
  • 1 zucchini
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Cut the chicken or turkey into bite-sized pieces. Mix the soy sauce with the vinegar, oil, honey, and sambal oelek. Mix it with the meat in a sealable container. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, but preferably overnight. Clean the vegetables and roughly dice the zucchini and mushrooms. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Thread them onto skewers with the marinated meat (at least two vegetables per piece of meat). Cook on both sides in a pan with a little fat or on the grill. Makes about 12 skewers.
