Strips of meat with butter beans

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g chicken or turkey
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cans of mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth, instant
  • some herbal salt
  • 2 packs of cream cheese
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 jar green beans
  • 2 tsp savory
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with cream cheese (food combining)

Finely chop the chicken and dice the onions. Brown both in a pan with oil and season with herb salt. Add the mushrooms (drained from a can or fresh, depending on your taste). Let the whole thing sizzle for about 5 minutes, until the meat is cooked through. Add the water, but don’t add all of it at once, as otherwise the sauce could become too thin. If a lot of liquid has been created while frying the ingredients, omit it completely. Stir in the cream cheese and season with the vegetable stock. If the sauce is too thick, simply thin it with a little water. At the same time, add the beans and their liquid to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Season with herb salt, vegetable stock, and savory (amount to taste), add the butter, and simmer. But don’t cook for too long, or it will become mush. The quantities and type (canned or fresh) can be easily adjusted (amount of meat, type of meat, amount of mushrooms (canned or fresh), amount of beans (canned, jarred, or fresh) depending on your preferences and how much you want/can eat). If you don’t like food combining, you can serve it with rice or noodles.
