Cream Cheese Frosting

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ packs of cream cheese, e.g. Philadelphia Classic
  • 1 pack of butter
  • 150 g powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Buttercream with cream cheese

Beat the softened butter until light and fluffy. Add the powdered sugar a little at a time and mix thoroughly with a mixer for about 10 minutes. Add the cream cheese a little at a time to the butter mixture and gently mix by hand with a wooden spoon until smooth. Only mix as long as necessary. Important: The butter and cream cheese must be at the same temperature. Otherwise, the cream may curdle during mixing! You can also increase the amount of powdered sugar if you like it even sweeter. Tips: The cream can also be colored if desired. It tastes especially delicious with red velvet cake, but also with sponge cake.
