Ernie's banana rolls hot and spicy

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 roll (wholemeal)
  • 1 banana(s), preferably overripe
  • e.g. herb cream cheese or herb quark
  • possibly herbs
  • possibly paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Savory roll topped with banana – perfect for any time of day!

Cut open a whole-grain roll and spread with herb cream cheese or herb quark. Peel and slice the banana, and top the roll with it. Sprinkle with herbs and paprika, if desired. Grill under a hot grill (e.g., in a microwave) for about 7 minutes. It may sound a bit strange, but a banana combined with a whole-grain roll and a refreshing spread tastes simply delicious. Of course, you don’t have to bake the roll; you can also eat it cold.
