Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slices of toast
  • 4 tsp margarine
  • 8 slices pineapple (small slices of 35 g each)
  • 125 g cooked ham (back ham)
  • 8 slices of processed cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Lightly toast the slices of bread, then spread a thin layer of margarine on top. Drain the pineapple slices well. Cut the ham slices to fit snugly on the bread and arrange them on the bread. Place the pineapple slices on top and cover each with a slice of cheese. Bake the bread in the grill or oven (preheat to 200°C/400°F top/bottom heat, middle rack) until the cheese melts.
