Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 bell pepper(s), red
- ½ lemon(s), organic
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Wash the peppers, quarter them, and remove the cores. Turn on the broiler or preheat the oven to the highest setting. Place the pepper quarters skin-side up in the oven until the skin blisters or even turns slightly black (about 3-5 minutes). Let them cool under a kitchen towel, then peel off the burnt skin. Scent a serving dish with garlic, arrange the peeled peppers on top, and marinate with lemon juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Delicious served warm or chilled overnight.
