Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g rhubarb
- 200 g sugar
- 1 lemon(s), grated peel
- 200 g flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 120 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Wash and peel the rhubarb, and cut it into thick pieces. Mix it with the sugar and lemon zest in a greased, ovenproof dish. For the crumble, sift the flour onto a work surface. Mix with the salt, cinnamon, and sugar. Add small pieces of cold butter and knead everything into crumbles. Spread the crumble over the rhubarb. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 40-50 minutes. Serve with whipped cream and/or vanilla ice cream.
