Pasta salad with tuna

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 small can of mixed vegetables (265 g)
  • 300 g tuna, in its own juice and infusion
  • 500g penne
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Thyme, dried
  • lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

simple, cheap, quick and delicious

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. You can add a little more salt than usual. Drain the liquid from the tuna and vegetables and put both in a bowl. Finely chop the carrots and vegetables and crumble the tuna slightly. Then add the mayonnaise and season gently with salt and pepper. Drain the pasta and add to the other ingredients. Mix everything well. Finally, add the thyme and a little lemon juice for a finishing touch and mix well again. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Let it sit in the refrigerator for half an hour before serving – but it also tastes great fresh and still lukewarm from the pasta.
