Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g potatoes
- 160 g flour
- 40 g potato starch
- 50 g semolina
- 2 small eggs
- 1 tsp, leveled salt
- some nutmeg
- 500 g smoked pork
- 1 small onion(s)
- possibly cheese
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Mince the smoked meat and onion (grind through a grinder), then form 10 dumplings from the mixture. Boil the potatoes, let them cool, peel them, and press them through a potato ricer. Add the remaining ingredients and knead into a dough on a well-floured board. Add 1-2 tablespoons of flour if necessary. Divide the dough into 10 pieces, flatten slightly on the floured board, place a piece of smoked meat dumpling on each, and seal the dough tightly. Roll the dumplings again in flour and then place them in boiling salted water. Reduce the heat to slightly lower and simmer for about 15 minutes. The filling also tastes delicious when mixed with some finely diced, spicy hard cheese.
