Potato and carrot soup

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 kg carrot(s)
  • 3 onions
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • broth, instant
  • salt and pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Peel the potatoes and carrots and cut them into small pieces. Fill a pot with broth until everything is well covered. Chop the onions and garlic, add them, and cook until soft. Purée the soup, season with sour cream and spices. Add a dash of balsamic vinegar before serving for a very subtle flavor.
