Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Wash the sirloin steak and pat dry, cut into 3 cm thin strips and dust with flour. Wash, trim, core and chop the vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a high-sided pan over medium heat. Fry the beef strips until crispy, then remove and keep warm. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil to the pan and sauté the garlic, onions and ginger until translucent. Then add the vegetables and fry. Now add all the liquids (dissolve the stock in the water) and bring to a boil, stirring. Finally, add the beef strips to the pan. Season to taste with salt and pepper and add the basil leaves. Rice or potatoes are suitable as a side dish, but fresh baguette is also delicious.
