Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ liter milk, lukewarm
- 100 g butter
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 onion(s)
- 200 g garlic sausage, sliced, sucuk
- ½ tsp thyme, dried
- 1 tbsp cream
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes
for 12 pieces
Mix the flour with the yeast, sugar, and salt. Add the milk, butter, and egg; knead everything well. Cover the yeast dough and let it rise in a warm place for 45 minutes. Peel and finely dice the onion. Brown the turkey breast in a pan with a little oil. Fry the onion for 2 minutes and stir in the thyme. Let the mixture cool. Knead the dough again, divide it into 12 equal pieces, flatten them, add the sausage and onion mixture, twist the edges together over the filling, and press firmly. Place the rolls smooth-side up on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, cover, and let rise for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Score the rolls crosswise, spread with the cream, sprinkle with caraway seeds and sesame seeds, and bake for 20 minutes.
