Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g peas (2 kg with pods)
- 40 g butter or margarine
- 125 ml water
- some salt
- some sugar
- 1 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Briefly heat the split peas in the melted fat. Then add the water, a little salt, and sugar, and simmer the peas over low heat for about 15 minutes until tender. Season with salt and sugar, and sprinkle with parsley.
