Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 cube of yeast (or 1 packet of dry yeast)
  • 60 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ¼ liter milk, lukewarm
  • 120 g butter, soft
  • 1 small bottle(s) of rum flavoring
  • 250 g raisins
  • 1 egg(s), beaten

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 21 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 21 hours 20 minutes

Combine flour, crumbled yeast, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, rum flavoring, milk, and butter to form a smooth dough. Then knead in the raisins. Let the dough rise until it has doubled in size. Form the dough into approximately 15 balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let rise again for approximately 15 minutes in a warm place. Brush the dough pieces with the beaten egg. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Bake the rolls for approximately 15-20 minutes.
