Pulled Pork Pasta Bake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g pasta, spirelli or similar
  • 500g pulled pork
  • 600 g cream
  • 300 ml broth
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Spread the uncooked pasta in a baking dish. If necessary, heat the pulled pork in the microwave for about 1 minute at 600W or in the oven for 5 minutes; this will make it easier to pull apart with two forks. Spread the shredded meat evenly over the pasta. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Briefly boil the cream, broth, and tomato paste in a saucepan. If necessary, you can use more tomato paste than indicated. Finally, season the sauce with paprika, salt, and pepper and pour it over the pasta and meat. Make sure the sauce is evenly distributed so the pasta softens. Finally, sprinkle the grated cheese on top (it tastes best when grated yourself) and bake for about 30-35 minutes.
