Saganaki with scampi

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slices of feta cheese
  • Flour
  • 2 eggs
  • breadcrumbs
  • 12 scampi, unpeeled
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tomato(s), sliced
  • some cheese (Emmental), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

baked sheep’s cheese

Coat the feta cheese in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs and fry in a pan with a little oil. Fry the scampi as well. Place the chopped tomatoes into two small baking dishes and arrange the fried cheese on top. Arrange the tomato slices and scampi on top. Sprinkle with grated Emmental cheese. Bake in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes, until the grated cheese melts. Serve with Greek salad and pita bread.
