Quick quark wheat rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g wheat flour, type 1050
  • 1 pack of cream of tartar baking powder
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • Sesame, linseed, poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Mix the flour and baking powder in a bowl and place on a work surface. Add the remaining ingredients and knead well. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Shape the dough into 16 rolls: round, oval, or tapered, as desired. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, flax seeds, poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. Line a baking sheet with baking paper and arrange the rolls on top. Place a bowl of hot water in the oven or brush the rolls with water before sprinkling. Bake for about 30 minutes.
