Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g shrimp
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 can tangerine(s), lightly or unsweetened
  • 1 jar asparagus
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • 250 g sour cream (sour cream)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper
  • chili

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Wash and drain the shrimp. Slice the asparagus. Briefly wash and drain the mandarin oranges. Combine all ingredients with the diced onion and drizzle with fresh lemon juice. Dressing: Mix sour cream with mayonnaise, season with salt, pepper, and chili. Mix the dressing with the ingredients and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Other: In spring, I prepare the shrimp cocktail with fresh, cooked, green asparagus. I use dried chili (from the mill). Instead of mandarin oranges, I sometimes use canned pineapple. I then season the dressing with curry and a squeeze of lemon. We eat the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer with toasted white bread.
