Shepherd's bread with egg

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g sausage (cooked sausage)
  • 2 onions
  • 375 g bell pepper(s), green
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices of farmhouse bread
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Slice the cooked sausage, cut the onions into rings, and cut the peeled bell peppers into strips. Brown the sausage slices in a nonstick pan, add the onion rings and bell pepper strips, and sauté for 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Fry 4 fried eggs in a second pan. Toast the bread slices, spread with butter, and top with the sausage and vegetables and the fried egg. Serve immediately.
