Paprika chicken steaks or chicken thighs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g onion(s)
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 kg chicken meat (chicken steaks or chicken thighs with skin)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 10 g margarine
  • 2 cups sour cream, 200 ml each

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Chop the onions into small pieces, peel the peppers if necessary (if the skin is sensitive) and cut into small pieces. Put a little margarine in a saucepan and add the onions and peppers. Season the meat with salt, pepper, and paprika and place it on top of the pan. The lid must be put on to prevent any liquid from losing any liquid. Set the stovetop to the lowest setting. I use the lowest setting even though the pan is larger, so the heat is even lower. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. After 1 hour, remove the skin from the meat. We serve the chicken with boiled potatoes for its delicious sauce. Serve with salad.
