Savoy cabbage salad with bacon

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g savoy cabbage
  • some broth for blanching the savoy cabbage
  • 4 tbsp bacon, diced
  • 2 tbsp walnuts
  • 6 tbsp broth from blanching savoy cabbage
  • 2 tbsp sherry vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp walnut oil
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Remove the outer leaves from the savoy cabbage, then cut 150g of the inner leaves into strips and wash. Blanch in broth for 5-10 minutes. Let cool. Fry the bacon cubes until crispy or just fry them lightly. Mix the dressing and season to taste. Place the savoy cabbage in a small bowl. Pour the dressing over the cabbage. Sprinkle with bacon cubes and walnuts.
