Emmental cheese chips

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 125 g flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 50 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 50 g margarine
  • 1 egg(s), including the yolk
  • 1 tbsp cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough. Form into a log (approx. 5 cm in diameter) and chill overnight (or freeze for 30 minutes). Cut into 1-2 mm thick slices. Place on a baking sheet greased with margarine and bake in a preheated oven for 7-10 minutes. Oven temperature: 175-200 °C (350-400 °F). The chips should be golden brown only around the edges.
