Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 25 minutes
Chop the apple, onion, salami, ham, gherkins, and cheese into small pieces. Combine everything in a bowl and stir once. Now add 1 tablespoon of mustard, 1 dash of lemon juice, 1 pinch of sugar, and chopped herbs of your choice (they make the salad taste and look even fresher). Then fold in natural yogurt, remoulade, or mayonnaise (I find natural yogurt with a dash of milk works best). Finally, season everything with salt and pepper. Let the salad marinate in the refrigerator for about 2-3 hours before serving. Note: You’ll have to work with your gut a bit. If you want more salami, add more salami. If you want more ham, add more ham. In general, you can vary the ingredients.
