Grapefruit – Apple – Jam

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 650 g grapefruit(s), filleted (remove skin and seeds) pink
  • 350 g apple pieces, prepared (e.g. Boskop or Elstar)
  • 100 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • 2 tbsp Calvados
  • 1 kg gelling sugar, 1 : 1

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

slightly bittersweet, flavored with Calvados

Prepare 4-6 jars of jam. Purée the prepared fruit with the orange and lemon juice. Place the gelling sugar in a large saucepan and stir in the puréed fruit. Bring everything to a boil while stirring and simmer for 4 minutes. Stir in the Calvados. Pour the jam into the jars. Close the lids. Let cool and enjoy. 100 g contains approximately 210 kcal.
